Mike was such a lovely person to work with . He got the unfortunate nickname Waxy after telling us all a story about his ears being syringed and well the name kind of stuck. I will always remember the laughs we had . One that comes to mind is the time he visited my flat and trod on my new kitten on his way out down the stairs (the cat was fine by the way) we chuckled about that for years after and then the classic old favourite joke when his desk was opposite mine - I used to ask him if he wanted a lead , he thought I meant a sales lead then I'd proceed to pull out a power cable or phone lead and hand it to him. After I left Matsu I didn't see him much but he would always text me on my birthday and wish me well and I him on his birthday 3rd Feb and we would have a bit of banter by text. He will be missed but I will always think back about those happy days at Matsu working with Waxy and smile.
