Ive know Mike for over 15 year having worked together at Matsu and Phoenix Terminals.
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Mikes sudden passing at such a young age
We were regularly in touch often meeting for a drink or lunch in Godalming and spoke on the phone at least twice a week
Mike was a kind , honourable , generous man he was always there to help out my family and I when we needed it.
Spending time with Mike was a joy and a pleasure both in the workplace and socially. Ive seen the word gentleman used in these stories and Mike Inkster was a true gentleman not to mention a superb salesman, his success in sales was probably somewhat down to his extremely likeable and affable manner endless energy, charm and passion for meeting people.
Mike also had an uncanny ability to remember dates and birthdays coupled with a love of Carry On films and The Beatles
Mike was always there for me to talk to or spend time with , my life will be a darker place without him – God Bless you Mike – RIP my friend
Sincere Condolences to Mikes family
